Laserlight! MB: Summer Special

IT's SUMMER! and its hot! And who can't resist to do a swimwear editorial? But this year its quite a challenge, if you I have to beat this, from last year pool party eds! See below!

It's Manila Bulletin's Summer Special 2011! And this year I need to beat this! 

I told Rxandy that I wanted to have it super fun, crazy props, balloons, party poppers, colorful pool props and everything! I started calling party needs company to do it, and it seems, not doable with the tight budget and very restraint time, I need to prep for Plan B.  I invited Kaye Awatin and Kristin Cornejo to help me out  in this big shoot! And how I love these girls' enthusiasm on my concept.

 Though they from different agency, I love Louisse and Kristell's goofing around here :) Such a bliss working with these people! NO ATTITUDE!

 After the shoot, just waiting for the cart! Dapat happy, bakit si Kaye uma-AURA dito? Anong ganap? Lols

Of course, we need an outfit shoot! We never talked about what to wear but it seems every shoot we have like 4 out of 6, we have either same color or combos in match! Lols!

Family Day and MORE!

Last May 1, Labor Day, ironic, is my first day as a full time fashion stylist, since as our company Diageo Phils. have been sold to another liquor industry and I thought why not push through my passion for fashion.  After all, I've been a Chemist/Quality Assurance Coordinator for almost 9 years now.

Day 2, May 2, I'm starting doing pulls for Bryan Termulo's album shoot, he's one of the Boys are Boys (BRB) member in regular mainstay in ASAP.  Then, my bestbud Sheryll, one of my former QA team in Diageo, and now in Uniliver, texted me that she and Van (also a former QA teammate) were in Festival and plan to meet me and have dinner in ATC.

 Mary Grace, ATC: Vic, Vienne, Van, me and Sheryll.  It's like QA mini reunion.  I terribly missed these moments :) 

May 3, I planned to have a thanks giving and somehow a great time to bond for the family.  We decided to go to Tagaytay, but since its late and wanting to avoid traffic we shifted to Seafood Market, Macapagal.  I just love Dampa even back then in Paranaque.  Been working in a manufacturing industry, where you don't have more options in canteen food, thus seafood is a breather!

Mom, Ate Vi (My brother's Wife), Marcial (kuya), Me, Ate Cecil (Ate Vi's bestbud), Mymy (niece), and mymy's cousins.

I even ordered chopseuy for myself alone.  Damot!  

 Love tempura, and sinigang sa miso... :)   After eating, Marcial and I went out to check out the area, and we passed thru this Ciocolato Cakehouse.  

They have cute cupcakes and minicakes.  We bought 3 cupcakes and have it some greeting's as post Mother's day celeb next week.  Sorry for the blur, nagmamadali si ate magsara :)

Paws Up!

This is part of the 5 editorials we did in just one day shoot.  Bianca Sing and I are so into this since actually we want to do a fierce and very tough, kick ass chick looks!  For the obvious hit, the model, Alisa is a sure winner for this!   

We featured bones and metal accessories with an edgy clothing in a fierce editorial which was released during the Women's Month!    

Love the Golddot shoes! Trivia: All shoes used in this eds is from Golddot! Thanks alot Ally!

Alisa is so pro that she can change from sexy, to fierce and slutty in just one instant! But of course we wanted fierce and edgy here :) 

We made some tweek to her hair and I advised Ryan, our photog to post process her hair to white or realistically close to white and final editing - silver! Amazing and it works!

Sam + Julie = LOVE

When Editor In Chief, Annie Medina called me to style for Sam Concepcion and Julie Ann San Jose, I immediately say YES!  Though honestly, I don't know them but hey since I believe Pinoy Magazine choices for up and coming artists, I think why not.

Sam is cool dude and I kinda like this man's attitude.  Fun and so humble!

UNIQLO Press Release - SS2012

One of the exciting projects to handle is the brands, especially up and coming international brands as UNIQLO. Uniqlo is a Japanese clothing brand with a strong sense of casual wear, also a designer/manufacturer and retailer.  Think of Lacoste, Benetton and Giordano.  It started on November 2005 and now one of the leading clothing retail chain in terms of sales and profit and operates majority in Asia Pac and in UK and US.

Peplum Barbie!

One of the biggest trend of SS2012 is Peplum dress and details.  This was seen on runways of Nina Ricci, Jason Wu, YSL, and Giorgio Armani.  

Our local designers have their own twists of what's happening on the global fashion trends.

The editorial is every commercial, inspired by Audrey Hepburn and a Barbie doll feel.  We made some attributes of fun by accessorizing with girls love for tea party, and toys.
